Use aconyms properly by following the rules below

  • Put them on bold
  • Format: Expanded Word (Acronym)
    Example:
    The Telekinetic Tactile Network (TTN) is...

Guidelines on when to use Acronyms

  • Acronym appears many times in the document
  • An important term
    Don't use an acronym when the word is only used few times

Some Acronyms will make readers generally stop expanding acronyms into the full term.
Many have forgotten what HTML expands to.
